Finding A Therapist Can Feel Overwhelming

Let’s Help With That!

It’s important that you and your therapist are a good fit. We offer free consultations that cover what you want to get out of therapy, how long sessions are, what therapy looks like, and any other questions you may have.

The Consultation (15min)

We recommend that if you are familiar with therapy, you use your consultation to get a general feel for your clinician.

The Intake

Two small potted cacti and succulents next to a pen and a therapy intake packet on a wooden surface.

This is the information gathering part which tells your therapist where you are and where you want to get to. This step takes a very broad view over the different aspects of your life and things that may impact your goals.

The Next Steps

  • Goal Setting

    • Figure out what your goals are and why you want to achieve these goals

  • Pick A Starting Point

    • We can start wherever you feel the most comfortable

  • Get To Work

    • Now you and your therapist have some rapport and you can begin to work through things

Individual Therapy

Couples Therapy

  • Individual Sessions

    • We will meet with each other in a 1:1 setting to go over individual thoughts and feelings in the relationship

  • Goals/Love Maps

    • We will briefly go over any high level goals that may have been missed and time allowing we will go over base level friendship in the relationship

  • Get To Work

    • Now the intimidation is gone and we can start digging into specific things to improve and concepts to implement
